  • Summary

    The Curative Landman, based out of Denver Colorado,  will effectively cure complex title issues by performing time sensitive title opinion analysis and title research. Through the practical use of available resources will acquire necessary curative documents and resolve all title related issues requiring curative measures. With minimal supervision, is able to successfully and effectively communicate and remedy title related matters efficiently and with precision.  


    • Review and analyze title opinions and requirements 
    • Identify curative action items required to cure title issues
    • Acquire and prepare necessary curative documents  
    • Draft and review a title runsheets and ownership reports 
    • Conduct intricate heirship analysis and discern ownership breakdown 
    • Effective communication with management and landowners to detail and explain intricate title issues 
    • Provide detailed updates as they occur in an accurate, timely, and continuous manner to all pertinent parties


    • Reside in Denver Colorado, or surrounding area
    • 2+ years curative title experience 
    • Bachelor Degree - Required
    • General knowledge of title law  
    • Strong online title and research tools utilization skills
    • Well versed in analyzing and preparing mineral and leasehold ownership 
    • Multi-generational heirship and application of intestacy laws knowledge and experience
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of product 
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate effective and appropriate initiative when making decisions and problem-solving 
    • Proven capability to prioritize and organize multiple simultaneous tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion
    • Must be able to successfully operate in an environment with stringent deadlines and strict standards
    • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word and Excel
