    Are you a Marketing Manager that embraces all facets of marketing?  Do you pride yourself in the ability to conceptualize thoughts, take charge, develop strategies, present ideas, and influence decision makers, and effect change?  Since our inception, Holland Services has serviced the energy industry, supporting clients in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors across America, and we are seeking a marketing manager to collaborate with the team to take us to the next level of success.

    The Marketing Manager will take a hands-on, take charge approach in their collaboration with management to develop and drive the B2B strategy to market the direction of the company to the industry with a presence to our clients that differentiates Holland Services from its competitors. This role will be involved in all of the day to day activities such as website management, events planning, recruiting and trade show campaigns to short term and long term sales and marketing strategy sessions, through development and implementation of same.  

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for their profession and enjoy working in all aspects of marketing.  

    Responsibilities

    • Own and lead marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars
    • Build and maintain solid relationships with management team to ensure buy-in for projects, communicate priorities for timely delivery of goals and objectives
    • Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns develop practical solutions within budgetary guidelines
    • Brainstorm with leadership team(s) for fresh marketing and branding strategies
    • Strengthen relationships across media outlets to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the company
    • Source promotional suppliers and marketing collateral printing vendors
    • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with third-party suppliers; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
    • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists
    • Develops annual marketing budgets with Business Development managers and support staff. Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications; understanding our competitors’ marketing campaigns
    • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Collaborate with event planners to create, print and distribute event announcements

    Qualifications

    • Four-year degree from an accredited college of university with at least seven years of combined education and marketing experience in a management role 
    • Direct Marketing, Market Segmentation, Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Reporting Research Results, Identifying and Understanding the Customer, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning, Financial and Business Management Skills
    • Familiarity with the latest in technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, e-newsletter development, social media marketing, print media, publishing and graphics applications
    • Strong understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, ability to think creatively and innovatively as well as pro-active communication skills
    • Skilled in Microsoft office tools, web analytics and getting the most from our marketing efforts
