    The Curative Agent Contractor works to cure complex title issues through the opinion analysis and title research. The ideal contractor is able to navigate their way through multiple resources channels to acquire the necessary documents and provide resolutions for title related issues requiring curative measures.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Review and analyze title opinions and requirements.
    • Determine curative action items required to cure title agents.
    • Acquire and prepare the necessary curative documents.
    • Draft and review title runsheets and ownership.
    • Conduct intricate heirship analysis and determine ownership breakdown.
    • Communicate with management as well explain intricate title problems to landowners.
    • Provide accurate and timely communication of all updates, details, etc., to all relevant parties.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years curative title experience.
    • A Bachelor degree is required, with preference for PLM, JD or other advanced coursework.
    • General knowledge of title law.
    • Experience utilizing on-line title and research tools.
    • Experience analyzing and preparing mineral and leasehold ownership.
    • Experience with multi-generational heirship and application of intestacy laws.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of product.
    • Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions and problem-solving.
    • Exhibit the ability to prioritize and organize multiple simultaneous tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
    • Must be able to operate in an environment with tight deadlines and strict standards.
    • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word and Excel.
    • AAPL membership.
